On 24th and 25th September 2024, the CORALIS consortium physically met in Lindesberg, Sweden to hold one of the project’s Steering Committee meetings and discuss the progress of partners’ work so far.
The 1st day (24th) was dedicated to a study visit in one of the project’s three lighthouses, Frovi, where partners had the chance to visit the tomato greenhouse there and learn all about the waste heat recovery process taking place between the greenhouse and a neighbouring pulp and paper industry. The consortium was lucky enough to try some of the tomatoes grown in the greenhouse as well!
The 2nd day (today) was dedicated to the usual WP and tasks presentations, where it became obvious the project is now at a stage where it is producing its most insightful results and roadmaps. Demonstration work is progressing well and partners are now wrapping up their technical work and are now focusing on dissemination of results, scientific publications, the CORALIS handbook and finetuning the project-yielded recommendations and best practices.
Our next meeting is set to be in the Escombreras Valley in Spain, early 2025 to visit the demosite there.
