This document includes a user guide for the project intranet called “TEAMS”, a collaborative working space for supporting internal project management under the Project CORALIS contract no 958337.
Microsoft Teams is a cloud-based team collaboration software that is part of the Office 365 suite of applications. The core capabilities in Microsoft Teams include business messaging, calling, video meetings and file sharing. Therefore, this document describes the main sections and functionalities of this tool to be used by the partners. Official user guides from the provider (Microsoft) are also made available to the project partners (see References Section).
Microsoft Teams will be used as an intranet tool for the communication, document repository (supported by SharePoint and Planner) and management of CORALIS. Teams is one of the most popular online project management suites available. Also, Microsoft Teams makes it easy to connect everyone at once. Through Microsoft Teams, it is possible to facilitate better project-related results, from improving communication to keeping work accessible. Deliverable 1.2 falls under the activities of the following tasks within the DoA of project CORALIS:
• Task 1.1 Overall Project Management
• Task 1.2 Progress monitoring including reporting
The intended audience of this deliverable is each individual participant of the project consortium.
The descriptions in this document intend to help the partners, invited as guests by email, use Teams. Therefore, included are only the tools and applications available to them for the project to allow their correct use.
