Publishable summary:

This deliverable is the result of the work done in theWP6, tasks 6.1 and 6.2. The objective is to assess the various design considerations which set the basis for the design and modelling of the carbon dioxide (CO2) and waste heat recovery system for the greenhouse application at the Höganäs symbiosis. The technical potential and cost effectiveness of an integrated unit for CO2 and waste heat recovery from the Höganäs steel plant to supply a nearby tomato greenhouse are evaluated in WP6. Feasible technologies to upgrade the CO2 stream to the quality required by the greenhouse are identified in this deliverable and their technical potential is evaluated. In addition, recovering the low-grade heat available at the industrial site is assessed. The work is a collaboration between RISE and WA3RM and this report is a public deliverable.
