The study “Circular economy practices as a shield for the long-term organisational and network resilience during crisis: Insights from an industrial symbiosis” investigates how circular economy (CE) practices contribute to long-term organizational and network resilience after Covid-19, focusing on an industrial symbiosis in Central and Eastern Europe, a region that has been less explored in this context. The primary data reveal that CE practices enhance organizational resilience through capabilities such as flexibility and cooperation, and this resilience extends to network robustness. Furthermore, organizations with higher levels of CE practices show greater long-term resilience. The research provides both theoretical insights, using the natural resource-based view and dynamic capabilities, and practical guidance for enhancing adaptive capacity within industrial symbiosis networks during crises.
